Description: The film depicts the everyday life of children with diabetes during their stay at the National Association for Diabetes' children's holiday colony 'Skærven' in Nyborg. Scenes from the children's play, bathing and sports alternate with scenes from insulin administration, urine tests and meals, and show the daily rhythm of the holiday colony, where regularity and control are effortlessly combined with the children's natural play. The film shows us how the children and their parents learn to live with diabetes.
